Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Because of Fracture in Cockpit Window

A plane carrying the US defense secretary was compelled to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the plane's windshield, according to an announcement which verified that all passengers were secure.

"The plane touched down based on standard procedures and all individuals on the flight, including Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative commented in a public statement.

Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to the Belgian capital at the time.

This incident isn't the initial instance that a US military aircraft carrying a top government figure has experienced technical problems.

In a previous incident this year, a US Air Force plane transporting Secretary of State Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was compelled to head back to Washington DC after encountering a mechanical fault.
