The Hoops were in front their oldest rivals at the break but a second-half capitulation let Rangers to pull level on points with the defending league title holders. The former MLS manager, who was hired from the MLS, has now been in charge for six setbacks in his last eight games.
“We are together with the board,” insisted the manager.

Supporters' Anger On Display
The fans voiced their fury – directed at the dugout and directors – by protesting at full time. The board are reportedly likely to re-appoint the former boss, who had a fruitful caretaker period previously, if Nancy departs.
“The outcomes [that leads to pressure]. So this is the situation for the moment. However by saying this is the reality, that is not a sign that I am pessimistic. Not at all. What I mean we are really close, really, really close to change the narrative.”
“Really, Really Close”
He remains focused on the fact the side show good levels for a half at a time. For instance, if not for missed chances they would have been more than 1-0 up. “The performance had merit except the fact that we didn't take more goals,” he said. “I acknowledge that we lost, but I must remain balanced.
“The performance we had at stages was really, really, really high. This is the reality. I could not say that if it was different. That is the reason, regarding outcomes, I said we've seen this before. Which is why I said that a change is coming to a shift in fortunes. Right now: the fine margins.”
“We produced a lot of encouraging signs that we did, once more. The issue now is performing for 90 minutes. My narrative would be different if I didn't believe it. This is why I firmly believe the team can to turn things around.”
Opposition Reaction Response
The victorious boss played down talk of a championship push in spite of what appeared to be a landmark win. “Step by step, so we can really build up something here,” he said. “The confidence in the group is outstanding.”
