Diane Ladd, Known For Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, Passes Away at 89 Years Old.

This Academy Award-nominated actor Diane Ladd has died at the age of 89.

This actor, whose roles included National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, passed away at home at her Ojai, California home. This announcement was shared in a statement from her offspring, Oscar-winning actor her daughter Laura Dern.

Her daughter, who performed alongside her mother in various films like Wild at Heart, referred to her as “my amazing hero as well as my precious gift of a mother”, noting that she was at her bedside during her final moments.

“She was an exceptional mother, daughter, grandmother, actress, artist as well as empathetic spirit that only dreams could have seemingly created,” she expressed. “We were blessed to have her. Her spirit soars with angels.”

Early Career and Breakthrough
